Offroad is our passion.

As passionate off-roaders, we have been working on improving the properties of vehicles for 40 years. We have been dealing with portal axles since 1995 - mostly we changed and installed the old axles from Volvo or Unimog.

We found that while these old, heavy trucks were very good off-road, they weren't made for everyday use.

As a consequence, we developed our new concept:

Bolt-On-Portale

which we have presented for the first time in 2003.
Our bolt-on portals can easily be attached to the existing axles on various vehicles (bolt on) without changing the axis geometry.
All existing electronic aids such as ABS or ESP work as usual.
The vehicle is suitable for daily use without restrictions,
on all routes and at all speeds.
We have directed our main attention to the off-roader, which can also be used for longer journeys around the world,
also wants to do off the beaten track.

With portals, you can safely reach extraordinary destinations, even far away from paved roads.

TIBUS bolt-on portals

create a unique ground clearance:

Axle tube and differential housing are above the center of the wheel. Portals are therefore the only method of raising vehicles that actually gives more ground clearance.

TIBUS bolt-on portals give your vehicle a "lift" of around five inches, corresponding to around 125 millimeters. There is also additional ground clearance due to the use of larger wheels.

Our bolt-on portals are the most sensible way of lifting to achieve more ground clearance.
