Frame off restoration on a 1997 Land Rover Defender 130

We started a frame off restoration on a 1997 build Defender 130. The vehicle will be absolutely unique.

First step of the restoration: The frame was hot-dip galvanized.

Second it got a special black coating.

The extra long 1997 Land Rover is in better condition as expected. The platform is already stripped.

Instead on this 215-85 the LR 130 will roll on TIBUS Bolt-on portals and 35' wheels in the near future.

Lot of space and only little rusty. But the frame will be hot-dip galvanized soon.

Rehearsal: 420 HP 6,2 litre V8-Motor and 6-gear automatic transmission - fits perfect.

Will be noble in a while: Leather seats in front and in the back with heating are ordered already.

Upright: The whole body work will get a refit of course.

We will install a 6,2 Liter V8 with 420 HP, 6-speed automatic transmission, TIBUS bolt-on portals, 35" tires, TIBUS double bead lock wheels with central tire inflating system, a TIBUS full air suspension with Reiger shocks, TIBUS central temperature monitoring system "TMS 18", air condition, new dashboard from ACC16, heated leatherseats, TIBUS-winches front and rear, differential locker front and rear.
